Here is the second installment to the May release. I had so much fun with this one, painting the flowers and imagining this wild place where everything I dreamed up would grow (my green thumb is more of a chartreuse…).
This one goes out to all the women in my life and yours who know what it takes to get things done. The roll-up-your-sleeves, finish-your-row, this-life-ain't-gonna-live-itself girls. They teach us what it means to flourish, and grow and be involved in your own getting there. Because, in the end, no one is going to do the work of becoming you for you.
And it's true. This life ain't gonna live itself.
Who would you send this to?
xo
Darling. True. And the first person who popped in my mind is who I’d send it to—a gardner, a long-time friend, and one who personifies its sentiment. 🙂
I agree. I have a dear friend who gardens and she would so love this. Thank you! I love love love your work!
my friend Diane who’s nickname is ‘dirt girl’ will be getting this one!
I thought of someone right away when you did a little preview of making it on facebook. Seeing the final project just makes it even more perfect for a good friend. I can’t wait to get this one for her.
Perfect words (and wonderful subtext!). These little cards and your wonderful blog are more inspiring than you can ever imagine. I’d send this to all of my best girls (and Mom and mother-in-law) who are people who know that life doesn’t just “happen”. Thanks again for your awesome work.
Love the words on this card… and the beautiful color combinations… would send it to a couple of friends who have “green thumbs”… perhaps “chartruese thumbs” and wonderful hearts!!!
I would send this to my sister, definitely. She is a single mom and lives in Boston with a beautiful daughter who has some learning issues. And yet, she smiles and is always ready to help someone else. Her motto is “Get over it and move on.” She has plenty of dirt under her nails but it comes from planting seeds of caring and love.
Love this…can not wait to see the new cards in the store.
